Minis by Gpor are each like precious jewels.
Their tiny size ( usually 2 1/2" x 3 1/2") capture the drama and mood of a much larger paintings.

GPor paints on location out of a day pack.  The artist finds inspiration from the forms and shapes of the natural world around her. Working loosely in acrylic her work speaks to spontaneity and immediacy. The artist believes in donating her work as exchange for being able to paint the world’s colors. Many of the pieces are available as note cards & prints. She is permanently displayed in Philadelphia Children's Hospital and the American Cancer Center Hope Lodge Pennsylvania .

The artist states:

"my painting is a spiritual and emotional journey. ..once used as an exercise to keep my fingers limber and later
to add
 balance in my life.

i am so overtaken by water / sky scenes that i surrender myself to the experience and barely remember painting them....the colors of sunset, reflections in water and feeling the breezes create a fulfilling piece of work..painting that is just an extension, a form of communicating the feeling of empowerment..."
